About This

• HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO - The MXL Mics 990 has a 6-micron gold-sputtered diaphragm and FET based design with transformer balanced output for a variety of applications.
• REDUCE BACKGROUND NOISE - The microphone features a cardioid polar pattern, which rejects noise from the sides and back of the mic. Hear more of yourself, and less of the room.
• OFFERS GLOWING RED LIGHTS - When you use the MXL Mics 990, the four built-in red LED bulbs in the mic grille glow when phantom power is applied.
• VERSATILE AND DETAILED - With a silky sweet high end while retaining tight lows and smooth midrange, you can use these microphones for voice overs, podcasting, gaming, studio recording of vocals and instruments. The 20 Hz - 20 kHz (990) and 30Hz – 18kHz (991) frequency response is suitable for both male or female vocalists and a wide variety of other source material.
• REQUIRES +48V PHANTOM POWER - The MXL 990 Blaze is powered by +48V phantom power. It is compatible with the many audio interfaces and mic preamps that offer phantom power.
